Myles Kennedy’s voice precedes him as it courses through six chart-topping albums from gold-selling rock juggernaut Alter Bridge, three records with Slash and The Conspirators, two albums from The Mayfield Four, his 2018 solo debut Year of the Tiger, and guest appearances for everyone from Disturbed and Halestorm to Gov’t Mule, Sevendust, Mark Morton and Darryl “DMC” McDaniels. For as much as he remains renowned for his skyscraping timbre and earth-quaking bluesy wail, his musicianship also encompasses eloquent songcraft, thoughtful cinematic arrangements, and, of course, dynamic guitar fireworks as explosive as his astounding vocal range. Wayland is a high-energy, no-frills hard rock unit, hailing from the small rural Michigan town of the same name. They issued their eponymous debut album in 2010. The band's explosive live shows and down-to-earth demeanor won them a strong regional following. Before long they were sharing stages with Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry, Sammy Hagar, Hinder, and Alice Cooper. Wayland found mainstream success with 2017's Rinse & Repeat and worked with Buckcherry producer Keith Nelson on their 2021 EP On the Way. Wayland draws inspiration from classic and modern rock acts like Led Zeppelin, Shinedown, Black Crowes, and Guns N' Roses.
