Temporary for 2-3 months Boston, MA Boston based company looking for a service oriented, experienced warehouse forklift operator for the next few months to assist with on-going business and some special projects. Job Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age High School Graduate/ GED minimum Must have 1 years' experience driving forklift, proof of prior certification a plus. Ability to lift 80 lbs. Physical, fast paced environment. Dependable and punctual Valid driver's license and a clean driving record a plus to do possible deliveries Attention to detail and the ability to learn and retain product knowledge a must Must pass basic Math skills screening Must know safety is a priority Bi-lingual a plus Must pass drug testing and random drug testing Must pass criminal background check Job Summary Warehouse/yard responsibilities • Unload trucks, put away product • Load contractor vehicles with construction material products adhering to all safety procedures and customer service protocols. • Safeguard company inventory by handling products appropriately and effectively • Care for company property and building by minimizing breakage and keeping work area and facility property clean and maintained. • Follow all paperwork and operation procedures with attention to detail. • Warehouse and yard organizational duties and general cleaning. Pick-up and Delivery responsibilities if required • Load inventory on small truck from warehouse, secure product and unload at customer site adhering to all safety procedures. • Pick-up product from manufacturers, distributors or job-sites when necessary. Work schedule is weekdays, with some flexibility between the hours of 5:30am-5pm. Some Saturday work required when needed. Great position for college students that have flexible hours.
