Decorate a Car for Asbury's Trunk or Treat

We need your help to make Trunk or Treat awesome! Asbury Children's Ministry is hosting our annual Trunk or Treat event, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to decorate the "trunk" of their vehicle on October 29th in the Asbury parking lot on the corner of Bel Ann and Live Oak. We will line the cars up around the parking lot so that children can trick-or-treat at each vehicle. Each volunteer will need to provide their own candy and decorations. We may have candy donations. We will disperse that candy as people begin to run low during the event. You can make it simple, or you can go over the top. You can even have a game element. We love this event because it's a great way for our entire church to fellowship, but it also provides a safe and fun way for our children and community to enjoy Halloween. Details for Volunteering a Trunk Arrive in the Asbury, Bel Ann parking lot any time before 5:30 pm.Have decorations on your vehicle set up by 6:00 pm.Bring plenty of candy. (Small portions of candy help to stretch your supplies.) We usually have at least 200 children.If you have any special needs for your vehicle, please email Sarah Deroche.
