Dance Mission Theater presents Women in Hip Hop: All inclusive pass. The pass gets you into all classes + showcase. Fredrika Keefer and Samara Atkins in partnership with Dance Mission Theater present Women in Hip Hop:  Brujas, Powerhouses, and Bad-ass  ♀ Oct 16-17 at Dance Mission Theater A weekend of classes + a performer showcase + party! The all inclusive pass gets you into all classes + showcase and party (see dancemissiontheater.org for full schedule): $130 From SF to Oakland, join us in celebrating women's love for hip hop culture. Featuring both new and seasoned teachers, choreographers, and MC's!  Artists include:  Bliss Dance Company, Aima The Drmr, Mix'd Ingrdnts, Traci Bartlow, Cocopelia, Dynasty Dance Crew, Nicole Klaymoon, Agatron, Young Minds, Kelli Foreman, Yeni Lucero, Alante Hall, Raquel Tansier, and more! Take class or come hang with us Saturday night for performances and a party with a special guest DJ! Please note: This is an in-person event! The performer showcase is ages 17+. Masks must be worn the entire time attendees are taking class, attending the showcase, or inside Dance Mission Theater. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is also required. Dance Mission connects and empowers diverse Bay Area communities and artists through all aspects of dance and dance theater, including the production of new works, instruction, and performance. We are an artist-driven, feminist organization dedicated to building community, addressing social justice issues, exploring cultural identities, promoting inclusivity, and creating a more peaceful world through collective action.  Many female artists, artists of color, and culturally specific ensembles consider Dance Mission to be their artistic home. Master teachers of dance and music have created a thriving inter-generational community celebrating cultural traditions, welcoming students of all backgrounds. Dance Mission is also the home of Krissy Keefer’s Dance Brigade, San Francisco’s groundbreaking, feminist social-change modern dance company.
