Hosted by New York's very ownmedia personality JRose (Rose Garden Events/J Rose Experience/The Hotline), Join us for a night of Food and Film as we screen "The Hurt We Share" for the very first time. Remember the cameras will be out so dress to impress! About "The Hurt We Share" What happens when you push someone so far over the edge they lose their sense of reality? Hurt is the story of how depression can dangerously alter someone’s perception of reality. Terrence is an everyday guy with everyday desires but when his world starts to fall apart around him his underlying battle with depression surfaces. Plot Synopsis Terrence Johnson is an everyday guy who’s life has been turned upside down. It’s been 7 months since Terrence was fired from the marketing firm he spent 9 years of his life at due to recent low performance. In the time Terrence’s relationship has fallen apart, his home has entered foreclosure, and he’s had enough. Terrence’s mental instability reaches its peak and he unleashes a plan to be remembered. He kidnaps the people closest to him (Susan, Benny, Parents) and holds them captive in his basement. Midway through his plan the realtor assigned to his foreclosed home, Tiffany, arrives to prepare his home for a showing the following day. Terrence surprise attacks her then sends her off to report his crime to the police. Detectives Burlow and Clemens respond to the call and immediately head over to Terrence’s house. The two detectives arrive on the scene and find a crime scene like nothing ever before.
