Grant Readiness Primer will give you the tools to understand what it takes to get ready to pursue grant funding. This event is available both virtually and in-person.Grant Readiness Primer will give you the tools to understand what it takes to get ready to pursue grant funding. This full-day session will cover all the basics of writing proposals for grant funding. You will learn about the importance of making the case for funding, how to describe your organization, program design, evaluation, sustainability, and budgeting. Be prepared to work hard and walk away with tools to support you in your grant pursuit. - Presented by the Inland Empire Community Collaborative (IECC). In partnership with The California Endowment and the Inland Empire Community Foundation's (IECF) new Office of Policy and Engagement. - In-person attendees will be served lunch and refreshments. - In accordance to CDC guidelines, and out of respect to the rules put in place by the City of Colton to protect residents and employees, everyone will be required to wear a mask at all times, regardless of vaccination status. If for any reason you are unable to wear a mask, we have made this event available virtually for you to attend from your place of comfort. The Inland Empire Community Collaborative (IECC) is coalition of over 85 non-profit agencies working together to strengthen our organizations and improve outcomes for individuals and communities throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. The IECC seeks to address the need for capacity of nonprofits in the region. The target audiences for the IECC include: Nonprofits in the Inland EmpireFunders who support non–profit capacity buildingGrant makersOther capacity building Government entities The IECC began providing capacity building in 2015, gained nonprofit status in 2017, and has continued to provide and expand services. Each year IECC successfully delivers its capacity building conference, THRIVE, and delivers sustainability planning to a new cohort of agencies through our Capacity Building Academy (CBA). We have raised over 15 MILLION dollars and we are growing quickly! Five years from now success will be defined through the IECC acting as a vibrant community of members building capacity in the Inland Empire.
