In this workshop Davidson College students will work on developing their personal brand by getting clear on their Why, How, and What.
What do you want people to say or think about you when you’re not in the room? How are you communicating what makes you unique while positioning yourself for new opportunities? In order to answer these questions, it’s important to get clear on your Why. During this 90 minute workshop, participants will work on developing their personal brand through reflection exercises and discussion using a SWOT analysis framework. Presented on Monday, October 11 by the Hurt Hub@Davidson and the Sigma Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, this workshop is a chance for both individuals and entrepreneurs to discover how they can better position themselves for the opportunities they seek.
Learning Objectives: After completing this workshop, participants will be able to:
Clarify their beliefs and values in order to identify their brand’s Why
Identify and analyze how their Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats may impact their personal brand or small business
Create a 30 second elevator pitch for their brand
The Hurt Hub@Davidson is connecting entrepreneurs, companies, community partners, and Davidson College in a world-class collaborative space.
