Epilepsy Awareness Walk in Nashville to raise funds for programs serving people with epilepsy in Tennessee. In person locations in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, Tri-Cities, Cookeville and Oneida. Participants can also walk virtually. Registration is Free! Tier 1: Free. Walking Bib will be emailed to registered participants to print and wear to the walk. Tier 2: $25 Receive a 2021 Walk event Medal, a numbered Bib to wear while walking, and a "I'm walking for __________" sign. Tier 3: $50 Receive the event T-Shirt, a 2021 Walk event Medal, a numbered Bib to wear while walking, and a "I'm walking for _______" sign. As always, those with Epilepsy will receive event t-shirt, medal, and walking bib for Free. The Epilepsy Foundation's mission is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. Epilepsy is a central nervous system disorder (neurological disorder) in which the nerve cell activity in your brain is disturbed, causing a seizure during which you experience abnormal behavior, symptoms and sensations, including loss of consciousness.
