PAINT 101: PAINT AND COATINGS TECHNOLOGYThis course will offer an introduction to paint and take a closer look at the evolution of paint technology. We will analyze the components of paint, specifically the different types of binders available and compare and contrast them. This course looks at the different sheens available on the market and helps the learner select the right type for their project. This course will identify the properties of a “green” paint, and the benefits of specifying them for a project. Finally, we will wrap up by identifying common paint performance issues and evaluating the reasons for their failures and ways to prevent them.
