Description

Join us for our End of Year Celebration and Fall Festival! Join us for our End of the Year Potluck Celebration! As our last monthly potluck of the year, we will be commerating all that we have accomplished this year, from our bountiful harvest that was distributed to the community to the opening of our community garden. We couldn’t be more thankful for the community of donors, volunteers, board, and staff whose support and dedication has made this year’s success possible. This potluck will be extra special and sweet as we wrap up the harvest season. Plus, there will be special fall activities such as a fermentation workshop, garden scavenger hunt, and a scarecrow makeover! We can’t wait to see you for one last fun-filled community gathering before we put our garden beds to rest! 3-5 pm: Open Volunteer Day 5-7 pm: Fermentation Workshop and Potluck Things to bring: - A dish to share, or food for yourself and others in your group. The facilitators of the gathering will ensure that tables are socially-distanced to avoid unwanted contact. - Your own plates, flatware, and a bandana that can be used as a napkin - Yown beverage, blanket, you think of another B! - Old clothes for our scarecrow! - Dust off that (acoustic) musical instrument that hasn’t seen the sunlight in over 14 months! Bring your guitar, mandolin, xylophone, clogging shoes (there’s a rumor that a new board member will dance on a wooden box and provide percussion for an Old Time/bluegrass number). Let’s jam! - Ideas or suggestions for future classes and workshops, extra points if you are willing to lead or facilitate one Covid Guidelines will be respected!
