WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington is reimposing a mask mandate in town buildings Friday, the town manager said Tuesday. Everyone will be required to wear masks at all times in all town-owned buildings, including members of the public, employees, vendors and board and committee members. Residents can still make use of window services, the dropbox to the left of the Town Hall entrance and online services at wilmingtonma.gov. In addition to the mask mandate, the following protocols will be in place, Town Manager Jeffrey Hull said: "Patrons will be expected to adhere to social distancing whenever possible.Hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout the building and their use is strongly encouraged. Individuals seeking to obtain documents such as a building permit, birth certificate, employment application etc. are encouraged to call the office responsible for the document in advance of arriving at Town Hall or any of our other buildings. This will enable personnel to have the document available upon arrival. Additional guidance not covered in this posting will be provided upon entering the building."
