Press release from the City of Salem: September 28, 2021 - 1:39pm The free "Stop the Spread" COVID-19 testing site located at St. Peter's Church, 24 St. Peter Street, in downtown Salem, will expand its hours of operation for the month of October. The walk-up testing site will be open on Saturdays in October from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This site is providing free PCR COVID-19 testing to any individual. No proof of insurance or citizenship is necessary. Test results are typically returned to the individual within 1-3 days.
