Westport Police To Hold Car Cruise Event This Weekend

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Police Benevolent Association will host their third annual Car Cruise event Saturday, welcoming cars of all years, makes and models to town. In a news release, Police Lt. Dave Wolf said the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lot #1 at the Saugatuck Train Station. The fee to enter and display a car is $20, and the first one hundred cars to arrive will receive a gift bag. This family event will feature music, as well as food provided by JR's Food Truck and Micallizi's Italian Ice. Trophies lots of raffle prizes will be awarded during the event. The Westport PBA is a charitable organization that donates money to causes such as the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, Special Olympics and Veterans and Families of Fallen Officers.
