If you have ever considered a career in healthcare, come take the first step by becoming a certified nursing assistant FOR FREE! Marin Post Acute is the North Bay's premiere skilled nursing facility located in San Rafael. We care for patients recovering from illness, injuries, and disabilities. We have partnered with a local CNA school and are offering to pay 100% of students tuition in exchange for a one year work commitment. Again, you can become a licensed CNA for free in exchange for a one-year work commitment at Marin Post Acute. We also offer tuition assistance should our CNAs ever pursue a nursing degree. There are two CNA courses offered: Course 1: The first CNA training course will begin on November 8, 2021 and run through December 10, 2021. The course is Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 12:30pm. A one day orientation will be held on November 4th. Course 2: This course is a weekend course offered for those unable to attend the normal schedule listed above. This course is Saturday and Sunday only and will begin on November 14, 2021. This course will run through February 6, 2022. Applicants must be able to commit to a full-time schedule as a CNA upon completing the course and passing the CNA exam. Applicants will start work at $20/hr.
