During the week of September 27, the following paving work is anticipated weather permitting:
Mill and Overlay work on Burlington Rd (Crosby Drive to Town line)
Mill and Overlay is the process of grinding off the top layer of existing asphalt pavement (an inch to an inch and half) by means of a large milling machine and replacing this layer with a new HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt) riding surface.
Traffic will be managed by the police on-site; please anticipate delays. Vehicle access in and out of properties will be maintained but may be restricted for short periods. Emergency vehicles and vehicles for Town services (trash collection, etc.) will always have access.
