HAMDEN — A Cheshire resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in Hamden earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On September 27, the big winner from Cheshire purchased a 30X Cash 8th Edition ticket from the Dixwell Gulf in Hamden and won $10,000.
