Here are the top stories in Salt Lake City today: Oscar Cuevas-Landa, 19, faces 15 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to repeatedly stabbing a woman as they traveled on Interstate 15 and shoving her out of the moving vehicle. Shilo Marie Stewart, 34, of Fruit Heights, gave Cuevas-Landa a ride on Aug. 16, 2020 and soon she was dead. Cuevas-Landa was arrested in Farmington, shirtless, bloody, and missing a shoe. An autopsy revealed that Stewart died from sharp force trauma caused by the knife and blunt force trauma to her head caused by falling from the moving vehicle. (Standard-Examiner)The drive-thru clinic in Farmington at the Legacy Events Center has reopened months after closing as a COVID-19 testing site. The second time around, officials said, it's a vaccination site. The clinic opened to help with booster shots, as well as first and second doses. Workers said appointments are necessary, and it should be at least six months since your last shot to receive a booster.
