ROUND ROCK, TX — The hearing for a temporary injunction in a lawsuit filed by Round Rock ISD parents has been moved to November, officials say. The hearing, which was originally set for Sept. 23, was rescheduled to Nov. 8, according to Community Impact. This is the second time the hearing has been postponed. Officials have yet to clarify why this hearing has been rescheduled. The lawsuit is one of three the school district faces. Two lawsuits are from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over the district's mask mandate, and another is from members of the Board of Trustees who are the subject of resolutions to censure. The newspaper reports the rescheduling of the hearing for a temporary injunction on mask policies has no bearing on the district's recently implemented mask matrix, which remains in place following a Sept. 22 vote from the board of trustees.
