LAKEWOOD, CO — At least one person died in a car crash Monday afternoon, the Lakewood Police Department said on Twitter. The intersection of Bear Creek Boulevard and W Morrison Road was closed for at least three hours while officials investigated the crash, which occurred at around 4:30 p.m. Monday, according to Lakewood police. The crash is still under investigation, police said, and the intersection has reopened. The intersection of Bear Creek Blvd and W Morrison Rd has been closed for a traffic crash investigation.
