Job description Responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and production. • Hours 8:00am - 4:30pm, Mon-Fri (Overtime as needed) ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner. • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area. • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. Sort, recoup, pack, mark, and label materials. • Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. • Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage. • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. • Participate in physical inventories. • Order trucks and UPS as needed for deliveries • Ship product from Manufacturing Software • Perform other duties as assigned by management. • 1 year Forklift experience • Maintenance background helpful • Must have good attitude and willing to be a team player. • Ability to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectives • The work environment is very dirty. Requires some safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts. • Requires the use of protective safety equipment. • Company may require you to perform a combination of other functions based upon the facility's needs. • Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance plans available after 60 days of employment. Paid vacation earned as follows - 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 10 years • Location is near the Charlotte airport • Drug screen and physical are required
