Description
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Recognizing when someone is suffering from anxiety or depression can be difficult. So East Providence Public Schools wants to help parents see the common signs, so they can help their children.
School officials will host a virtual parent work shop at 6 p.m., Oct. 13 to review common manifestations of anxiety, depression and related distress that can occur during childhood and adolescence.
Parents will learn how to spot these difficulties, how to talk to their children about mental health and tips to reduce stress in both children and parents.
Anyone interested in participating in the workshop can access it from Zoom.
