Press release from TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce: September 27, 2021 September 27, 2021   Support Frederick Living's Lighting the Way 125th Anniversary Campaign during The Amazing Raise Frederick Living's 125th Anniversary Lighting the Way Campaign is a fundraising campaign focused on major renovations to our Cedarwood Health Care Center, support for Benevolent Care, assistance with purchasing generators to sustain power to the main building on campus during a power outage, and relief from COVID-19 related expenses.  One of our leadership donors, Sodexo, is supporting the campaign with a $250,000 matching gift that would take us over our total $1.1 million goal for the campaign if met.  Generous donors have contributed $117,790 of that matching challenge since it was launched in mid-June 2021. This leaves $132,210 in gifts and pledges needed by the end of 2021 to meet this challenge as well as meet our goals.  By giving a gift to Frederick Living during The Amazing Raise, which runs from October 1, 2021 to October 29, 2021, you can leverage your gift to help more!  Proportional matching dollars and prizes are awarded to participating non-profits who raise funds for their causes during this period.  The Amazing Raise, run by the Tri-County Community Network (TCN), is designed to encourage non-profit philanthropy in the Tri-County region, which encompasses Montgomery, Eastern Berks and Northern Chester Counties.  Frederick Living's 125th Anniversary Lighting the Way Campaign, which is scheduled to conclude at the end of 2021, has received gifts and pledges of more than $969,741 toward a $1.1 million campaign goal in this anniversary year.  For more information about the Lighting the Way Campaign and how you can help, please contact Amy Cummings-Leight, Director of Advancement, at 610-754-7878 Ext. 1250 or [email protected].
