DOYLESTOWN, PA — Fonthill Castle is set to host a "Luminary Stroll" event Wednesday evening to raise money for Bucks County residents with cancer. The event, which starts at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, is one of five the Pine2Pink Foundation has planned for its "fundraising season." The foundation's slate of events kicked off Saturday at Delaware Valley University with a Yoga and Fitness Fest, but Wednesday night's event at the castle will serve as the official launch for the foundation's monthlong fundraising campaign. Coronavirus Cases On The Rise In Central Bucks Schools The Pine2Pink Foundation was established in 2018 to raise money from local communities to support breast cancer patients. Over the past three years, it has started and funded 10 programs to support patients, including food delivery, comfort bags and transportation for treatment. The foundation's fundraising efforts will support Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham, Grand View Health, Doylestown Health and the Corinne Sikora Wellness and Support Center in Buckingham Township. Pine2Pink recently helped launch the Corinne Sikora Center to help Bucks County residents with cancer by offering free services to patients, including holistic and integrative services, nutrition classes, support groups, book clubs, acupuncture, and yoga and fitness classes.
