Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/15/2021 Preliminary Information: On 8/15/21, around 2:36 am, officers responded to a Person Shot at 248 Wellington St. Upon arrival, officers located one adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim stated during a physical altercation the suspect's weapon was accidentally discharged and grazed the victim. After the altercation, the suspect fled the scene. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No suspect information was provided. The victim refused to cooperate during the investigation and refuse to be transported for medical attention. This investigation continues.
