Attention: Loudoun County High School musicians: Former professional performing arts coach seeks to make his mark in Loudoun County by putting together a high school rock band to compete in, and WIN, the Loudoun Co. youth Battle of the Bands: http://www.loudounyouth.org/programs/loudoun-battle-of-the-bands We are starting from scratch and seeking  all of the following: guitars, bass, drums, keys, vocals, etc. (other musical instruments considered) - slight favor to multi-instrumentalist and instrumentalists who can also sing back-up vox.   The ultimate goal will be for “the group” to win the battle of the bands and possibly spawn an ongoing, legacy program! The group will consist of the primary players as well as understudies (with the possibility of producing two groups for competition, or an extra large group - depending on the final talent lineup).   SO... if you are an experienced player with a burning desire to perform, THEN YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY AUDITION! (Please note: This is not a program where everyone gets in, sorry - but, if everything goes as planned, we may have those opportunities in the future!) Rehearsal location, etc.: The auditions, as well as all rehearsals and individual coaching will be in Ashburn, VA.  Full group rehearsals will likely be once a week with smaller sectionals as necessary - to be determined among the participants chosen.  Acceptance to the group will also include 1 weekly private lesson for each participant. Deadline to book an audition is soon!
