Description

The Facilities Assistant will be in charge of maintaining the Preventative Maintenance schedule by checking fume extractors, grinding wheel guards and spacing, and changing the wax at the prescribed intervals and other processes that may be established throughout time. The Facilities Assistant will also take on various projects and tasks for basic facilities and production maintenance. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: • Maintaining the Preventative Maintenance schedule, which includes: - Checking Fume extractors - Grinding wheel guards and spacing - Changing the wax at the prescribed intervals • Creating visual aids for standard work • Implementing ergonomic solutions • Improving labeling of equipment and materials • Creating Fastpipe structures etc. • Navigating Made2Manage ERP System • Analyze production information to understand methods and activities on the manufacturing floor. This includes, but is not limited to, production schedules, process flows, and engineering specs • Monitors equipment and automation to ensure it is being properly utilized and functioning at maximum capability • Comprehends the operation and function of machinery and automation equipment within manufacturing • Works with Supervisors and Team Leads to ensure all are current on best practices for setting up and operating machinery and automation • Adheres to all safety regulations • Overall continuous improvement tasks and projects as necessary To view more information and/or apply directly on our website, please click the following link: After submitting your application, we will reach out to schedule an interview.
