On the subject of suicide, my father came to me 10 years before he died from a terribly painful illness, also I have in past been asked to talk to fellow students (1970s) about their desire to end their lives, and I will be glad to share our results, because I saw them again a decade later, happy! Also, my identified genius brother committed suicide. I have done personal family hospice care-3 fam members. I likely will die of the same terrible disorder my father did, but I am good! I am usually on the lighter side, but willing to get serious and tell you about my creative humane ideas for leaving this world when my time comes WITHOUT burdening family with possible blame for my undoing. I AM NOT SUICIDAL, but practical about the reality that NONE OF US GETS OUT ALIVE! LOL! I earned a right to make jokes about it, because I earned it by right of survival. I would be happy to discuss senarios--hypothetical, of course! I watched painfully as my mother grappled with the death of my dad, mind you, this was a woman who would take a bloody cat or dog for medical treatment to save it's life. I am here, as a volunteer with no license or promises or credentials! Just way too much experience to keep it all to myself!
