Leaf Home Safety Solutions installs accessibility solutions like stair lifts, walk-in tubs, and walk-in showers to enhance the safety of our customers in the homes they love.  Position Summary The Production Assistant will be an integral part of our Supply Chain team. The Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost while still meeting customer and demand specifications.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sets up and prepares all manufacturing stations, checking all stations for adherence to operating/safety procedures Notifies appropriate personnel of any issues, problems or concerns in a timely manner Safely and neatly processes all manufacturing orders while adhering to SKU specifications Accurately supplies/supports Warehouse Assistant with appropriate materials to fulfill demand Performs all required machine cleaning and preventative maintenance Completes and maintains required documentation within WMS software Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.   Experience and Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of previous production experience preferred Ability to receive a forklift certification Excellent verbal and written communication skills Provides prompt and courteous customer service Analyzes and interprets data Gives attention to detail and follows instructions Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access). Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications Forklift certification is a plus Travel Requirements No travel required. Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements No overtime required. Physical Requirements Field Office/Manufacturing/Construction Environment Performs work outside in varying temperatures and climates. Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
