We are looking for an office & household personal assistant to join our small woman-lead work team. The current position is broad in scope, we don't expect that each applicant will possess all the desired experience. However successful applicants will be able to perform several of the core tasks. We are a small business with office space on the same property as the business owner’s home. The position may include supporting both the office and home-related tasks. We are looking for someone that can ideally do breakfast and school runs with the children, with a start time of 7 am M-F. The pickup times are 2pm and 4pm. They attend different schools, so it works out to 50 minutes of driving twice per day. Due to the school schedule, the position needs to be at least 20 hours per week, but up to full-time based on skillset and the hire's desired schedule. If you have children we are open to having them here before and after school. Production & Office Assistant Production coordination— inventory and pulling stock for orders. · Customer service—assist with shipping domestic and international orders, processing returns, and accounts receivables. · Clerical tasks—basic office tasks including filing, developing organizational systems, purchasing office supplies, answering phones, editing office documents, and customer service tasks. · Quality control—check merchandise for quality defects. Personal/Household Assistant: · Personal Assistant—running errands, scheduling appointments and general home support. · Make breakfast and drive kids to school each morning with a start time of 7 am. · Household Support—covers support for running an efficient household. This part of the job includes house straitening, contacting home repair appointments and food preparation. You must be able to set up and track routines so that tasks are done efficiently, thoroughly and consistently. · Childcare Support—work could include supervising our children outside of school hours. Desired Skills & Traits: Both positions require working closely with and anticipating the needs of the business owner and office employees. We provide a healthy and supportive work environment. The ideal candidate would possess a range of skills and traits including: · Mild tempered · Detail-oriented · Organized & Ability to multi-task · Basic computer skills for researching purchases and solutions to household issues · Experience with MS Excel · Enjoys cooking or prepping meals · Ability to switch between tasks quickly to meet changing priorities To Apply visit: Compensation: The pay range is salary between $15 to $20 per hour. If full-time, the job includes paid holidays, a week per year paid vacation, paid sick leave, $300 per month in health care spending reimbursement, and a week per year of paid holidays. Screening: Must have been vaccinated for COVID-19 within the first couple of weeks of starting. Since the position involves working in our home and office, screening and interviewing of finalists will be thorough and will include: Criminal Background Check Driving Record Check Current CPR Certificate (can be acquired after hire but before the start date) Two or three employment reference checks Two personal reference checks.
