As a Sr. Facilities Coordinator you will coordinate advanced site support through the performance of diverse activities related to facility services, building maintenance, and/or equipment maintenance. Essential Functions: • Coordinates advanced facility support tasks related to one or multiple functions; executing work orders, shipping and receiving, distribution of mail to employees, furniture and equipment moves, conference room set up etc. • May perform advanced or specialized building or equipment maintenance tasks including the completion of work orders, scheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs. • May coordinate the purchase of supplies and manage supply inventories. • Coordinates assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, as needed. • Responds to facility related emergencies, as assigned. • May cross-train or mentor department staff. Education and Experience: High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 4 years). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to handle multiple projects and balance priorities • Ability to work independently and resolve problems • Consistently positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with others • Effective oral and written communication skills • Strong computer skills • May require advanced knowledge of building systems including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and controls • May require knowledge and understanding of computerized maintenance and work order systems • May require advanced knowledge of shipping service operations and software such as FedEx, UPS, etc. Working Environment: PPD values the health and wellbeing of our employees. May have exposure to potentially hazardous elements typically found in healthcare or laboratory environments.
