GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Area Operations Supervisor is responsible for the over-sight of multiple Redemption Centers and employees. This position must be familiar with pertinent OSHA and Human Relations rules and regulations and have hiring and coaching experience to ensure a safe work environment with a focus on retention. Also, this position is responsible for ensuring departmental productivity and performance objectives are met at all assigned BottleDrop Redemption Centers including: ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS Conduct weekly Redemption Center audits and cash counts to verify facility is meeting operational expectations and accurate cash handling Verify machinery/equipment is properly operating and maintained Review ADP for hourly timecards and approve, monitor to ensure staying within labor budget Ensure each Redemption Center has sufficient supplies and supply inventory and orders are submitted accurately and timely Interview, select and onboard qualified applicants Coordinate new employee orientation and safety training for employees Effectively evaluate and discipline verbally and in writing any situation outside of our policy and procedures in a fair and consistent manner Communicate with On-Site Supervisors on a regular basis to ensure all procedures and requirements are consistently met at each Redemption Center Oversee Redemption Center’s appearance including all surrounding parking lot, storage area, and facility to ensure cleanliness standards are met Cover shifts as needed to ensure each facility is operating in an efficient and safe manner Assist with company events and the opening of new locations, as needed May be required to work more than 40 hours per week as business needs require with possible overnight travel Understand and effectively communicate Oregon’s Bottle Bill Exude pride in BottleDrop by setting a professional tone and expectations of staff to deliver the Redemption Center Service Goal: Every customer visit is a positive experience QUALIFICATIONS Previous warehouse, production and/or retail and management experience (min. 5 years) Experience working within budgetary constraints Computer literate in business applications Strong communication skills, both orally and written Experience working with light industrial equipment and conveyors Cash handling experience Must be able to work flexible hours Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for several hours Must not pose a direct safety threat to himself/herself or others PAY & BENEFITS Health/Dental/Life Insurance plans PTO (Paid Time Off)/Holidays 401(k) plan with company matching contributions ** Ready to apply today? ** Click on the following link:
