Upright bass player for jazz trio wanted

I'm a nylon string acoustic guitar player working with a hand percussionist to form a trio in the style of classic groups like the Bill Evans trio, Bola Sete trio, and Sonny Rollins' strollin' concept. Sub-genres include Latin, post-bop, modal, and a bit of an avant-garde sound. We're also interested in how to bring in other elements from hip-hop, soul, funk, pop and rock like Thundercat, Moonchild, etc. This is meant to primarily be an acoustic trio, but certainly open to incorporating electronic sounds within that framework. I definitely love the sound of acoustic upright bass in this mix. While we're serious about our craft and would be looking for gigs, we're not professionals and just want to have fun. Super casual! I'm in East Kensington, and the percussionist is in Downington, so if you live or have rehearsal space somewhere in between us (West suburbs?), that would be ideal. We're definitely looking to meet in the west burbs anyways, so if you don't already live there, you should be up for that commute. Must be vaccinated.
