Hey, I'm trying to start a minimalist or slowcore kind of band along the lines of more recent Radiohead or Sigur Ros. Interested in playing with beats, horns, keys, strings, other sounds - whatever makes it interesting. I play guitar and bass, a little keys with a fairly large practice space in my basement. I have a potential drummer interested already. Especially looking for a singer interested in creating their own style. Prefer female but not required. Must be over 21. Experience preferred. No drugs. Probably practice on sunday afternoons if it gets going. Looking to play out eventually. Other influences: Tori Amos, NIN, Bjork, the Doors, Jeff Buckley, the Cure, U2. Quiet is the new loud.
