The Shipping Associate is responsible for picking and packing outbound orders using smart scanners while adhering to QSC and customer established processes and procedures. Follows DOT & IATA guidelines when preparing cargo for shipping and loading trucks. Processing domestic small parcel orders through the FedEx and UPS kiosks. Assists with unloading trucks, putting away and stocking inventory using FIFO method while maintaining accurate inventory levels. Maintains a neat and well-organized warehouse and operates equipment in accordance to OSHA regulations and QSC protocols. The shift is 8AM to 4:30PM Responsibilities Pick & Pack outbound sales orders using smart scanner & FedEx/UPS kiosk. Prepare outbound cargo according to DOT & IATA guidelines as well as QSC and customer standards. Load outbound trucks and ocean containers. Unloading inbound freight from QSC warehouse as well as freight containers/trucks. Verifying shipment paperwork against physical receipt and document discrepancies for action by the supervisor for resolution. Stocking received inventory into the proper locators using smart scanner. Replenish inventory locators based on type and volumes using FIFO method. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience in warehousing preferred. Must have forklift experience and be QSC certified within 6 months of hire date. Oracle knowledge a plus. Basic to intermediate computer skills with Micrsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint) Well developed oral and written communication skills, Good interpersonal skills Independence: Able to work independently and collaborate with fellow team members when required.
