We have a 9 year old male Lab/Whip-it mix named Elliott We have had him for 5.5 years Okay with other dogs Hyper as can be, but settles down when petted/inside with family. Barks at ANYTHING and everything. Neighborhood association requiring re-homing or "we not leave him unattended for long periods" Looking into non-shocking bark collar, but have few hopes of that working. Loving guy, just wants lots of attention and only knows one speed for walking, FLY. likes to run along with the bicycle... we have a bike leash (keeps him safely away from getting into the tire) and the first mile the rider never has to peddle. Elliot's good for about 2 miles then needs to slow to a walk. We have asked to be given until October 18 to find a new home for him. otherwise surrender is our only option. Would strongly prefer to find him a good place.
