Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk
We are a small design company working in hand-printed textiles near the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles. Our customers are mainly designers working for demanding clients, so we work hard to ensure every customer’s expectations are met. We are a young, tight-knit team where everyone wears a number of hats to keep the business running efficiently. We work hard every day so we can enjoy baked goods and some dog love (we have a great "shop dog" on site)
This position is full time (40 hours per week), and carries standard hours, Monday through Friday.
Wage: $16-$18/hour + Benefits
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90016 (Mid-City / Crenshaw)
Responsibilities:
*Working with and supporting our warehouse team on a daily basis.
*Shipping and receiving textile orders quickly as they come through via email.
*Creating FedEx or UPS shipping labels and printing, along with relevant packing lists and paperwork.
*Accurately pulling correct items from warehouse and precise measuring. We work with a high-end product that is expensive to replace, so accuracy and attention to detail is paramount.
*Recording and reviewing inventory levels.
Skills:
*Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
*Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
*Great customer service skills with clients.
*Extreme attention to detail. Cutting the proper fabrics at the correct length is hugely important.
*Ability to learn quickly and take on new tasks as needed. We are small and you may be asked to help out with any number of things around the office.
*Spanish bilingual is a plus, but not necessary.
*A sense of humor.
