Position Summary Delivery Helper assists the driver with the unloading and loading of goods, in the most efficient, safest and professional manner Duties & Responsibilities • Assists driver with the loading and unloading of merchandise to customer locations • Ensures that contact is made with person responsible for order and that goods are delivered to the location indicated on the contract. • Reports any damaged/short-shipped merchandise to the Dispatcher in charge of route prior to leaving location. • Assists in staging order at location • Assists driver with counting “Boxes” and send pictures of deliveries if driver unavailable. • Secures all merchandise by using straps and repositioning equipment to Ensure that equipment arrives at location/warehouse intact. • Uses appropriate equipment to transport merchandise Knowledge, Skill and Abilities • Ability to carry, push and pull a minimum of 50 to 80 pounds on a regular basis and/or while being assisted by others • Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers, customer representatives, guards, other personnel at location and Co-workers • Ability to work long hours and/or varying shifts (day, evening, night, weekends and Holidays) Schedules Available: Monday to Friday 7:00 am– 3:30 pm & Saturday 7:00 am – 12:30 pm; Monday to Friday 9:30 am – 6:00 pm & Saturday 7:00 am – 12:30 pm; Monday to Friday 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm & Saturday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
