Description
Looking to rehome our 2 year old German/Australian shepherd mix. We can't take care of him the way he deserves, we don't have the time or money to give him a good life and he needs better. Husband and I are both disabled and due to army and covid we never had time or a backyard for him to exercise.
He's not socialized at all (aside from the cats we have, and another service dog) and has trauma with other dogs at dog parks but he could probably be trained out of that fear because he's insanely smart and wants to be near his owners. We just never had the time. He takes a long while to warm up to new people (barking, hair standing up) but when he is calm he is cuddly and playful. He's truly a good dog, we just failed him. If you put love and time into him it will be given back 10 times over.
He's got all his shots. He's fixed. No medical issues. Just some behavioral stuff. It would be best to have him be the only pet in the household. Someone who knows the breed can probably do good by him. Patience is absolutely necessary. Rehoming fee applies to ensure good home.
