Michigan Tribe provides events and funding for female entrepreneurs and women business owners in the Jackson, Michigan area. We're gathering together to show our support & celebrate 5 women who have started a business in the Jackson area over the past year. Bring gifts, advice, and/or encouragement to ensure these new bosses start their businesses in the most successful way. (It's like a baby shower, but for new business owners!) Do you have the perfect gift or advice for a new business owner? Maybe it's a: Gift card to purchase her best boss outfitJournal with an inspirational note from youComplimentary service for copywriting, headshots, or logo designBook that helped you learn a key business skill...whatever you wish you'd had as a new business owner, that's what we'd love for you to bring (for one, or for all five new bosses)! Our community nominated five women business owners to be showered at this event, but ALL attendees will receive support, resources, and even gifts to help a business grow. The five women business owners we'll be showering are: Elizabeth, Wonder and Wander JacksonToneka, T. Smith Business ConsultingMaddison, Five Forks BakerySierra, Love Entirely CoachingTia, Birth Brite Company Plus, the first 20 business owners in the door will receive a FREE Jolt Rapid Charger for your cell phone (for those emergency, must-charge-so-I-can-send-that-email-or-post-that-on-instagram moments). Mark your calendar for 10/15 and plan to drop the gift off, meet our highlighted new bosses, and spend some time with our awesome community :) FAQs Do I have to be a female entrepreneur to attend? No! All are welcome, but we are using this as an opportunity to support new women business owners AND connect with our MiTribe community, so it's best suited for those who own (or are interested in owning) a business. Do I need a ticket, or can I just show up? You MUST have a ticket to attend this event. Although tickets are FREE, we're asking attendees to register so we can limit the number of people. Do I need to bring a gift for all 5 women? Yes, that would be great! But, if it's a little too pricey, just bring what you can. Once you meet our highlighted new bosses, you can choose which are best suited for the gift/s you brought. Can I just drop a gift off, or do I need to attend the whole time? We don't expect you to come with a one minute elevator pitch and we aren't the group to come to if you're just looking for new clients.
