Come listen to Emily Tamkin present about her Bates Purposeful Work Internship on brewing chemistry with Merritt Waldron and Dr. Lori Banks at Baxter Brewing this summer. You will learn how iso-alpha acids (IBUs) are measured and their implications on beer flavor. You will have the option to reserve a ticket for a pre-selected flight to accompany the presentation and guided tasting! Purchase of $10 will be completed upon arrival.
