Linking Mental Health to Academic Success Conference: Hope, Healing and Resilience in 2021 and Beyond Sponsorship Registration The Eastern Shore School Mental Health Coalition (ESSMHC) is a grassroots movement created over a decade ago when a group of concerned citizens recognized the critical link between mental health and academic success. The ESSMHC has evolved to include a wide range of stakeholders from across 9 counties of the Eastern Shore of Maryland all of whom are committed to reconciling the disproportionate distribution of resources to school systems and mental health providers on the Shore. The goal of the group’s efforts is to advance compassionate connections to support the mental health of school aged children as they learn and grow. Each year the ESSMHC partners with Salisbury University to create an annual conference, Linking Mental Health to Academic Success. In 2021, The Eastern Shore School Mental Health Coalition created an endowment to provide annual support to the Center for Healthy Communities to train practitioners, students and community members in the areas of advocacy, education and outreach to youth and families on the Eastern Shore. It is that time of year again, the Eastern Shore School Mental Health Coalition is gearing up to host our 11th Annual Linking Mental Health to Academic Success Conference at Salisbury University. We are excited to be back in person this year and ready to celebrate the milestone of over 10 years of quality trainings and initiatives as we present “Hope, Healing and Resilience in 2021 and Beyond” on November 18th and 19th, 2021. This year several exciting changes are coming! For the first time ever, we are hosting a 2-day conference that will include a happy hour and poster presentation on the evening of November 18th and the traditional full day training conference on the 19th. Sponsorships have allowed us to offer amazing speakers and content while maintaining affordable rates for attendees and agencies. This year a portion of the proceeds will be contributed to the endowment. Sponsorship Levels Bronze: $300 – With a Bronze sponsorship, your agency will have a write up in our conference program to include logo, contact and services information as well as visibility at the conference to include banner and slideshow.Silver: $500 – With a Silver sponsorship you will receive the Bonze plus table with up to 2 representatives OR 4 attendees to conference, including Continuing Education Credits and Lunch**Gold: $750 -With a Gold sponsorship you will receive the Bronze plus table with up to 2 representatives AND 4 attendees to conference, including Continuing Education Credits and Lunch****Attendee spaces can be filled by your own agents or may be donated to a community partner of your choice or back to the coalition to sponsor a Guardian/Advocate/Family.
