Dhangsang Lugar is a group of Tibetan professional artists that aims to preserve and promote the unique art from the roof of the world. They will be presenting Tibetan classical and folk music and Tibetan operas. All the artists were born and raised in refugee communities in India under the leadership of his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The artists have performed on world-renowned stages such as the Smithsonian Folklife Festival (USA) , Festival de Gannat (France), and others. Featuring Boston-based artist Tenzin Younden who has starred in two feature-length films: Shemshook, and Richard Gere is my Hero.
