Description

Learn about law enforcement and restorative justice In an hour long presentation, Longmont Police Commander, James Brown, and Longmont Community Justice Partnership (LCJP) staff, come together to explore the history of this 25 year long partnership in Longmont. Detailing the founding ideas and current practices, community members have the opportunity to learn about the way that Law Enforcement has adopted, and practices, Restorative Justice. The Longmont Public Library is a division of the City of Longmont Department of Community Services.  It is located at 409 4th Avenue, which is the site for most events listed here, but we often have events at the City of Longmont Civic Center, in the City Council Chambers.  That address is 350 Kimbark St. in Longmont.  The Longmont Public Library averages approximately 500,000 visitors a year and is the most visited city facility.  See our webpage for all the wonderful things you can do and find at your library!
