Fall Book Donation Day Scheduled for Sunday, October 17 at C. H. Booth Library, Newtown. Fall Book Donation Day, sponsored by the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library, is scheduled to run, rain or shine, on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from noon to 5 pm in the rear parking lot of the C.H. Booth Library at 25 Main Street, Newtown. The Friends welcome your donations of new and gently used books, DVDs, CDs, LPs, video games, board games, and jigsaw puzzles. Easy drop-off is available in the rear parking lot of the library where volunteers will help unload your donations and provide tax receipts. Please note that the Friends cannot accept encyclopedias, outdated reference and text books, travel guides, VHS tapes, Time-Life Series and Reader’s Digest books, magazines, or free pamphlets Your donations are used by the Friends to raise money for the library in the big annual summer book sale, the Little Book Store, and in the pop-up book sale located on the second floor of the library.
