Your favorite legendary Bruins Alumni take on The Great Blizzards of Massachusetts All-Stars to benefit The Great Blizz Special Hockey team! The Great Blizzards of Massachusetts Special Hockey team is a not-for-profit public charity on the South Shore whose motto is: NO Hockey Player Left Behind. Our roster of 30+ players includes team members ages 5 through 35 and all genders and skating ability, who have a cognitive, intellectual and/or developmental disability. We not only coach ice hockey skills but we strive to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, fairness, hard work and decision-making imperative to the game of ice hockey. Your contribution helps us pay for expensive ice time, uniforms and equipment and travel to regional and national tournaments where we represent the best of the South Coast of Massachusetts. This game also benefits the Boston Bruins Foundation, a non-profit that collaborates with charitable organizations that demonstrate a commitment to health and wellness, education and athletics.
