Here's a chance to win a $100 gift card by winning our chili contest or costume contest on October 7th, 2021. Inspired by everyone's favorite chili lover and our An American Workplace pop-up bar, we will be holding our first chili competition! Contestants will need to bring in a slow cooker with their own signature chili recipe for people to judge and vote who is the chili king/queen! The winner of the chili contest will win a $100 gift card redeemable at The Pennant and featured on our social media platforms. Participants need to bring their slow cooker full of chili that's already been cooked/prepared between 6:00pm and 6:30pm on 10/07/2021. Once you arrive we will label your chili so attendees can identify it with their voting cards. The voting/judging will begin at 7:00pm so come hungry so you can try other's chili as well. We will tally the votes and announce the winner at 8:00pm. You must reserve your entry in the chili competition by acquiring a ticket here on EventBrite. We are limiting the contest to 16 entrants, so sign up quickly or you'll just have to settle for being a judge. What's more you say? Then at 8:00pm will begin our The Office costume contest. Dress up as your favorite characters from the show (this is not limited to Kevin costumes). Feel free to bring a prop from a scene in the show (no real cats are allowed in the restaurant Angela...) to enhance your costume. There will be one winner determined by an applause-o-meter at 8:30pm to determine who did best with their costume at win a $100 gift card redeemable at The Pennant and featured on our social media platforms. No need to get a ticket to participate in the costume contest, this is open to everyone that visits. A good strategy is to bring plenty of friends to cheer for you! Contestants consent to video and photos being taken of them by Pennant marketing staff that may be used in advertisements, social media, and other media.
