Annual SWICACC Kickback Dancing for the Future SWICACC is a non-profit organization created in 2009 to promote the training and development of multi-disciplinary teams and forensic interview sites to serve children and families in Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Orange, Perry, and Spencer Counties. Utilizing a child advocacy center setting and a multidisciplinary team approach decreases the number of times a child needs to be interviewed following the report of a crime, thus reducing additional trauma. SWICACC and team members have provided interviews for over 2300 children with 394 of those conducted in 2018. Though the numbers are distressing, they demonstrate the need for services in our communities.
