Sewing Machine Operator Position

We are a small local in house rope splicing company for WesSpur Tree Equipment in Bellingham looking to hire a sewing machine technician. No experience is necessary although it could be helpful. All training will be done in house. The ability to follow instruction carefully, and being very detail oriented is a must as our gear is used in rigging and life support. This position will be primarily focused on sewing, but with flexibility and opportunity to learn hand splicing. Qualifications Include: Basic ability to set up and run machines Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity Manufacturing or production experience preferred The Position is a full time day shift Monday through Friday 8:30a- 5:00p with potential overtime as business requires. Starting pay is $15/hour, with a $1.00 raise at 6 months and another $1.00 again at 1 year with pay increases determined by skill level and efficiency after that point. We have a 401(k) program, paid vacation and sick time and typically a profitability bonus at the year end.
