Welcome to the Grand Opening of Storybook’s new Heritage Media Center! We are opening our front doors again weekly to local families and island visitors to learn first hand about Kaua’i culture and the people who live and love it!
This event ticket includes admission to Sparky’s Garden with live entertainment by renown musician Michael Barretto & Friends beginning at 6:30 pm and admission to Storybook Theatre’s new Heritage Media Center including hosted exhibits about plantation life, pre-contact Hawaii, and the life and times of Kaua’i Hero for Peace, Senator Sparky Matsunaga.
In the viewing theater we’ll present the new podcast program, ’Sparky Would Go’ it will be shown throughout the evening and features Kumu Sabra Kauka and the Nualolo Ohana. There will also be a birthday party for Sparky’s 105th birthday and a surprise toast!
Event will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Bring a Lei, put it on Sparky's Statue!

An Authentic Bento Box of Assorted Flavors will be available to purchase separately for $12. For tickets please call 808-335-0712. Pick up at Storybook Theatre 4:00 until 6:00 pm.
The purpose of The Storybook Theatre of Hawaii is to enable Hawaii's school children to experience and participate in the performing and media arts, SBTH also perpetuates the cultural values and heritage of the peoples of Hawaii and the Pacific.
