Octoberfest is an annual party hosted by local attorney Dwayne Green. It is a business-casual networking and social event with open bar. This year's Octoberfest is a two-evening event with the opening reception taking place on Friday, October 15th from 6:00 pm until 10:00 p.m. During the first evening we will recognize Troy McClain, Jr. and his Legacy Buildres Mentoring program, the cause for which the fundraising component will be held. The second evening's event will be an outdoor event held at Edmunds Oast Brewing Company (NOT the restaurant on Morrison Drive). Both locations are on Charleston's historic downtown peninsula. The event is also doubling as a mini-reunion weekend for attendees of Princeton's Thrive Conference, a minority-networking weekend held in October of 2019, the last time in-person reunions were held on campus. Tickets are required for both events and proceeds will go to benefit the Legacy Builders Mentoring programs.
